Hello folks! It's that time again! Looking forward to seeing you at this month's meeting on Wednesday, June 13th at 5:30 in Stimson Hall.
Here's an agenda for the meeting.

1. Review of monthly Transfer Station Data.
2. Recycling bins to sell at the Transfer Station. Brian will give a status on shipping options from Rehrig-Pacific in NH.
3. Trash Talk articles: Updated schedule.
- Pete T. "PAYT As An Option" Peter will circulate an article for review by the weekend of June 16-17.
- Brian S. "Illegal Dumping" Brian will circulate an article for review by the weekend of July 07-08.
- Jewel M. "Recycling Room by Room" Jewel will circulate an article for review by July 21-22.
4. PAYT / Improve Recycling project: Focus is review Gray SW ordinance.
- Continue with re-write of Gray SW Ordinance.
5. Open season: What's up Doc?

Meeting Minutes for Wednesday,
May 9th, 2007, 5:30 p.m., Stimson Hall
In attendance: Gary Foster, Jewel McHale, Mark Arienti, Randy Cookson, Peter Thoits
1. Review of monthly Transfer Station Data.
2. Recycling bins to sell at the Transfer Station. Brian will give a status on shipping options from Rehrig-Pacific in NH. (Tabled if Brian cannot attend.)
- Brian is waiting for written confirmation of price, quantity and delivery before placing an order.
3. Trash Talk articles: Updated schedule.
- Mark A. "FY 2007 Goals" Mark will circulate an article for review by the weekend of May 26-27.
- Pete T. "PAYT As An Option" Peter will circulate an article for review by the weekend of June 9-10.
- Brian S. "Illegal Dumping" Brian will circulate an article for review by the weekend of June 23-24.
- Jewel M. "Recycling Room by Room" Jewel will circulate an article for review by July 7-8.
4. PAYT / Improve Recycling project: Focus is review Gray SW ordinance.
- Reference materials to follow.
- The committee began the re-write of Gray's solid waste and recycling ordinance. Jewel has agreed to put the new ordinance parts into written form.
- Jewel found a website that has several styles of ordinance formats available. She will present some samples at the next meeting.
- Mark has used the Maine DEP state ordinance website. Mark will forward information to Jewel as to where to find the list of definitions used by the DEP to Jewel.
- The committee will continue with the ordinance re-write at the next meeting.
5. Open season: What's up Doc?
- G. Foster, as Gray's liaison to Eco Maine, reported that Eco Maine has asked that Gray evaluate the economics of sending our recycling to Eco Maine using their single stream recycling method. Randy and Gary will put together the information that will enable us to determine if this would be worth while.
- Peter will put together and circulate a list of annual committee tasks and the time-frames for their actions.
