Matt Doughty has been a Town Councilor for the Town of Gray since July 2010. Born into a military family, Matt grew up in various locations across the United States. Graduating from the University of Southern Maine in 1998 with a degree in Geology and Geophysics he has lived, worked, and played throughout New England, eventually moving to Gray in 2004.
With an established career in construction management, Matt is employed by Unitil Service Corporation. Among numerous activities within Gray, Matt is a liaison to the Community Economic Development Committee, the Recreation and Conservation Committee, the Gray Grange No. 41 Scholarship Committee, and the Fair Hearing Authority.
When Matt isn’t fully engaged in construction or politics, you’ll find him enjoying time with his wife Carrie and three children. Matt’s extracurricular activities include hunting, boating, landscaping, and just about anything social.
