PASSENGER TIRES ONLY- LIMIT 4 $2 each additional, $4 each additional on rim
AUTOMOBILE BATTERIES
WOOD WASTE, CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, BRANCHES and YARD WASTE are CHARGED AT THEIR USUAL PRICE.
Stoves, washers, dryers, water heaters, and dishwashers are always accepted at no cost.

PLEASE NOTE: Also that all  vehicles must have a valid 2011 transfer station permit or will be turned away.

The Gray Solid Waste & Recylcing Committee are asking for your help to come up with a new catchy name for the Committee.

The Town of Gray has a mandatory recycling policy at the transfer station.  Should a resident opt to not recycle, there is a $10 fee per car or pick-up load.

Recyclable items include:
Corrugated cardboard, paperboard, newspaper and magazines, office paper, calendars, paper bags, egg cartons, junk mail, tin cans, glass bottles and jars, mugs, mirrors and window glass, plastics numbered 1 through 7, plastic grocery bags, and rechargeable batteries.

Besides typical household waste, large items such as construction/demolition materials, furniture, yard waste appliances, and the like are accepted daily during regular operating hours.

$30/cubic yd.
Gypsum board (new, unpainted scrap)     
$18/cubic yd.
Mattresses and box springs (dependent on size)
$3 - $5 each
Demolition debris – pressure treated wood, insulation, painted drywall,vinyl siding, plaster, railroad ties
$20/cubic yd.
Leaves, grass and garden waste
$3/cubic yd.
Brush, branches and logs (no stumps)
$5/cubic yd.

A valid Transfer Station pass is required for use of the facility and may be obtained at either the Town Offices or the transfer station with proof of residency and $5.00.  The pass is valid for the current calendar year, expiring on December 31.
