Radon Testing:
The Town of Gray has five buildings with basements. We have tested for Radon in each and have found it to exist. In the Town Offices the company that installed the exhaust unit has been contacted to assure that the system is functioning since we exceeded the standard with the unit in operation. We are in contact with the State to continue to testing and when the information is collected we will develop a plan, if needed, to remediate the Radon.
Central Voter Registration System:
As expected, the State has been less than happy with the current contractor involved with preparing the records for the CVR system. They are in the process of seeking a new contractor. Gray will continue to work with the State on this important program which is part of the Federal Help America Vote Act or HAVA.
Respectfully Submitted,
Mitchell A. Berkowitz
