The Cable TV Committee met on 12-04-2006 at Stimson Hall, members Mark Olsen, Ryan Peary and Brad Fogg were in attendance as was Town Council Liaison Julie DeRoche.
In this meeting the Cable Committee approved the following measures:
Proposed Time Table and draft Town Council orders for dissolving Cable Committee:
January 8, 2007: Cable Committee reviews draft job description for Public Access
Channel Director and entry level pay
Cable Committee reviews changes in Policy Manual to reflect
Addition of Public Access Channel Director and dissolving
Cable Committee.
January 15, 2007 Policy Manual forwarded to Town Manager for Review
Job Description and salary for Access Director forwarded
To Town Manager for review
February 6, 2007 Town Council Acts on proposed Motion to dissolve cable committee and approve salary for Public
Access Channel Director. (This allows Council to work salary into the proposed budget.)
Draft Motion: Be it ordered by the Gray Town Council that effective June 30, 2006 Council Rule 602.27 be
abolished and the position of Public Access Channel Director be created; and authorizes the Town
Manager to transfer ____________ from the Penn Cable Account fund balance for the purpose of
creating the position of Public Access Channel Director and adding this position to the Administration Department.
Draft Motion: Be it ordered by the Gray Town Council that Council Rule 602.24 – Town Committees be amended
as follows in paragraph 2:
“Committee members shall serve without compensation with the exception of the Board of
Assessment Review, whose compensation, if any, shall be determined by the Town Council. , and
Cable TV Committee, who receive a stipend for fee for service activities

3. Planned agenda items for January 8, 2007. Committee will not meet on New Year’s holiday
