Ordinance Review Committee
Minutes

February 7, 2008

Present: Wade Trudel, Gary Foster, Richard Bibber, and Wayne Wood

Wade Trudel called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm

Wayne Wood moved and Gary Foster seconded to accept the January 3, 2008 minutes as amended.
Vote 4-Yes

Wade Trudel reported the Town Manager had informed him George Thebarge will be reviewing the ordinances and they will then be passed on to the committee for review. The committee agreed that if the committee will not be writing the ordinances, but reviewing the change, they should meet one per month unless thee is a specific need. The third Wednesday of each month should be left open if there is a need and a notice may be made to the public if the committee decides a second monthly meeting is needed.

Gary Foster moved and Richard Bibber seconded the committee meet the first Thursday of the month and, if necessary, the third Wednesday.
Vote 4-Yes

A proposed amendment to Wellhead District 402.25(G).4 was reviewed. Gary Foster reported the DOT wanted to apply a higher concentration of salt for melting snow than is currently allowed. The language is an amendment. Richard Bibber noted test pits would be put in to monitor the water.

Wayne Wood moved and Gary Foster seconded to report to the Town Council the committee has reviewed the proposed amendment and found it acceptable and will pass on an affirmative recommendation to the Council.
Vote 4-Yes

The revised use matrix dated January 16, 2008 was reviewed. Gary Foster noted corrections that will be made. All agreed to the matrix as corrected. Wade Trudel will pass the matrix on to George Thebarge after the corrections have been made. All agreed. Wade Trudel reported he had recommended to George Thebarge that as many of the uses as possible not be in site plan review, but for the code enforcement officer review.

Meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m.
