Solid Waste & Recycling Committee Meeting Minutes

People present: Pete Thoits, Brian Shedlarski, Mark Arienti
Review of monthly Transfer Station data: Randy was not present so we dispensed with the review of monthly totals.
Recycling / Cost Saving Project - Recycling Ordinance : This meeting was a working session where we all tabled our evaluations of the Gray Solid Waste Ordinance and the two other samples we have. We wrapped up the meeting with the task that each of us will summarize what we feel needs to be changed in the Gray Solid Waste Ordinance.
Open season! We had one open season topic. It was briefly discussed that we look at making and installing new signs that will designate the types of materials that go in each recycling bin at the Gray Transfer Station. Brian will look at pricing for the possibility of having them made.
