Gray Solid Waste & Recycling Committee Meeting, April 13, 5:30, Gray Town Offices
1. ecoMaine Recycling Idea Exchange Meeting April 27:
Peter will attend the first part of the meeting regarding the community bulletin board use and report back to the committee.
2. Participation of neighboring towns in 2011 HHW collection.
New Gloucester and Pownal have declined to participate. Raymond would like to participate conditionally. Peter will state Gray's requirements for participation. Waiting for North Yarmouth to reply.
3. Proposal to rename the committee: continue discussion.
Will request that Tracy post a request for committee name ideas on the community website.
4. Recycling education initiative.
Randy was approached by a person who knows of middle school aged kids who would like to participate at the transfer station. Peter will contact.
Next meeting will be Wednesday, May 11th at 5:30 at the Pennell Municipal Complex.
