As part of its 5 year maintenance plan, Central Maine Power has contracted with Lucas Tree to prune trees throughout Gray.
For the next several months, Lucas will be working to insure that local trees are not interfering with power lines.
Since this is a 5 year plan, some of the trimming may seem somewhat drastic, trust that it’s being done properly and in accordance with the CMP 5 year plan.
Lucas will be leaving the cuttings behind as they work.
Homeowners are welcome to keep any wood left on their property or contact The Public Works Department at 657-3381 to have the wood removed.
CMP has recognized that many of the recent power outages in Gray are due to damage from tree limbs, and hopes to alleviate such issues through this initiative.
