The Tax Assessing, Planning, and Code Enforcement Departments are the primary elements for economic development in any community, and Gray is definitely open for business with these town departments working in consort in the Gray Community Development Department.
The Community Development Department provides a one-stop resource for
- Citizens wishing to build new or renovate existing structures.
- Contractors procuring permits, zoning information, and building code information.
- Realtors, Assessors, and Appraisers researching properties.
- Developers and Prospective Business Owners doing their due diligence.
- In addition to the services available in the office, this website is continually being enhanced with digital services. Most permit applications are available on line. The Tax Assessor’s Database provides property tax information. In
the near future, code files and tax cards will be digitized and viewable on line.
