Getting Updated Over the past three years the Town of Gray has been in the process of modernizing and improving its Codes, Ordinances and Planning functions. Streamlining the many processes one must navigate when owning, creating or relocating a business in Gray. We believe great progress has been made and will continue improving these areas to better serve the needs of Gray's business community and its residents.
Gray on the Move The Town Offices once located at 6 Shaker Road have moved to the newly renovated Pennell Institute building at 24 Main Street. What was a run down brick schoolhouse is now a restored structure and fully functional Town Office facility. The aptly named Henry Pennell Municipal Complex contains the Town Clerks, Financing, Assessing, Planning, Code Enforcement, Recreation, and Community Television Departments for the Town of Gray.
There are also multiple projects going on to revitalize our Village Main Street area. The Gray Community Economic Development Committee is currently working on a master plan for the town owned properties on Shaker rd. The goal is to make these properties more marketable. |
