Peter B. Gellerson was elected to the Town Council in June of 2008. He was born in Skowhegan, Maine and spent the first nine years of his life living in North Anson, where the Carrabassett and Kennebec Rivers meet. He moved with his family to Falmouth when his father's employment location changed. He graduated from Falmouth High School and the University of Southern Maine with a BS in Education with a major in social studies. He was employed by Blue Rock Industries of Westbrook for 35 years and was a vice president of the company at the time of its sale to Pike Industries in December of 2005.
Currently, Peter is the president of Lathrop Property Management of Portland. He has resided in Gray for a little more than 30 years, during which he served on the Planning Board for nearly 10 years, before being elected to the Town Council. He is married to the former Deborah Sullivan of Cape Elizabeth and they have a daughter, Kelley, who is a Class of 2005 graduate of GNG High School. |
