Adult & Community Education
It’s back to school time for the kids, but what about you? Did you know that we offer the classes you need to enter college right here in Gray-New Gloucester? If you have considered a career change or college give us a call and we’ll help with the transition. Your Adult & Community Education program exists to improve and enrich the lives of the citizens of Gray and New Gloucester through lifelong learning opportunities. Since the program’s inception in 1999 we have helped hundreds of adults in the community earn a high school credential, prepare for college, make informed career decisions, and learn new job skills in order to enter gainful employment. We offer classes that promote a healthy lifestyle and stimulate the mind. We hope you can join us this semester!

Please give us a call; we will help you take the next step!!

We’re Under Construction too!

clip_image002.jpgJust as the Pennell Complex, the Caswell Mural and the Tower Clock have been transformed, so will the website.
Additionally, we will be compiling updated directories of local organizations, businesses, and houses of worship.
If you notice anything askew within our site or are having trouble finding a piece of information please contact us and let us know.

Be Part of the Action!

Whether your interests are in government, sports, the environment, youth activities, recreation, history, or economic development and commerce, there’s a place for your talent in the Community.

Getting Involved...

The Town of Gray is seeking volunteers to serve on Town Boards and Committees.  As a resident of Gray your opinion matters and serving on a board or committee is a great way to get involved in your community. To view a complete list of openings and instructions on how to apply please click here.

If local government isn’t for you, consider some of these options. Gray Historical Society, the Gray Public Library Association, or Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park.
There are plenty of other organizations that would welcome your talent as well.

Updated directories are just around the bend...
