Construction Status
• Staging around the 1876 building will be repositioned to 1954 soon
• Restoration of the slate roof tiles, trim repair work and brick/mortar repair work is in progress for 1876 Pennell
• Replacement windows for 1876 have been installed
• Final trim painting will be done in the spring
• Roof trusses for the 1954 section, structural steel and windows for the 1954 segment are expected to arrive in early February
• Demolition near completion
• Structural steel segments are being fabricated
• Replacement of the front entrances to 1876 Pennell will be completed in the spring after the staging is removed
• Site work and the finish coat for the parking lot will be completed in the spring
Zachau's on site supervisor is Mike Packard.
The next community tour of the Pennell Construction site is scheduled for February 20 between 9 AM and 11 AM for those interested in viewing the status of the work.
