Status Report #12
The next community tour of the Pennell Construction site is scheduled for April 17  between 9 AM and 11 AM for those interested in viewing the status of the work.

Construction Status
  • Construction of firewalls for elevator is complete
  • 1954 roof underlayment is complete - shingles installation scheduled to begin week of April 5
  • Framing for 1954 exterior walls in finished
  • New stairway to second level 1954 has been installed
  • Work on repairing front entrances to 1876 Pennell in progress
  • New siding and trim for 1954 exterior to begin week of April 5    
  • Exterior wall facing for 1954 segment is complete
  • Basement excavation 1876 in progress
  • Dry wall work to begin week of April 12
  • Windows for 1954 to be installed week of April 12
  • Elevator will be ordered on April 5
  • 1876 demolition work is 60% complete
  • Opening for the new stairway to 1876 basement is complete
  • Trim repair work and brick/mortar repair work is in progress for 1876 Pennell  
  • Final trim painting will be done in the spring
  • Site work and the finish coat for the parking lot will be completed in the spring  
Zachau's on site supervisor is Mike Packard.
