Endorsement - Town Council has endorsed concept plans and construction strategy

Environmental Remediation – Completed testing and work specifications.  Conducted pre-bid meeting for work.  Bids due Oct. 14th. Environmental remediation to be done by Nov. 6.  

Design Drawings – Site Plan, Exterior Repair Work, Landscaping and Space Arrangement drawings are complete.  Drawings for electrical, mechanical and structural details are expected to be completed by week of October 26.

Planning Board Presentation & Review - October 22 @ 7 PM

Construction Cost – Budget construction cost based upon the current drawing is   
$ 2,100,000.

Guaranteed Maximum Price - Construction Manager has requested bids for Phase 1 work (exterior work for 1876 building, site work and windows for 1876 building).  Selected bidders are:

Construction Manager (Zachau Construction) has submitted a proposed Guaranteed Maximum for the Phase 1 work - $ 513,756.  Zachau plans to offer a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the balance or the work by November 15.  

Projected Construction Start Date – Work on the entrances to the 1876 segment is in progress.  Site and 1876 restoration and 1876 roofing work expected to begin the week of Oct 12.  Phase 2 work expected to begin late November.  Zachau's on site supervisor is Mike Packard.    

Projected Construction Completion Date – May 2010
