Located at the crossroads of state routes 26, 100, 115, 202, 4 and the Maine Turnpike exit 63, Gray is home to the Maine Wildlife Park, Libby Hill Forest Trails, and the Spring Meadows Golf Course and is conveniently located within a twenty minute drive of Maine’s two largest cities, Portland and Lewiston. With the many local attractions in its forty two square miles, coupled with the surrounding areas many offerings, the Town of Gray is truly at the heart of it all.
Phase 2 of Pennell Renovations (Gray's New Town Hall) Projected Construction Completion Date – Mid July 2010 !! The next community tour of the Pennell Construction site is scheduled for April 17 between 9 AM and 11 AM for those interested in viewing the status of the work. Maine Wildlife Park wins a Governors Tourism Award
The Town of Gray would like to congratulate the Maine Wildlife Park’s Commitment to Tourism Award given by the Governor in January 2010. Located right here in Gray on route 26, the Maine Wildlife Park has been a cherished part of our community for many years. Their commitment to the health and well being of the wildlife, education of its visitors and their involvement in the local communities is second to none. Congratulations and thank you for being part of our community.
