Bike to School Day

Join Fiddlehead Art & Science Center, Gray Public Schools, and the Gray Bike-Ped Committee for the First Annual Gray Bike to School Day on Wednesday, May 4, 2016!  In celebration of National Bike to School Day and the start of construction on our Village Loop Trail, students from Fiddlehead School of Arts & Sciences, Russell School, GNG Middle School, and GNG High School, along with their families, teachers, and all interested community members, are invited to meet outside Newbegin Hall (Henry Pennell Municipal Complex) with their bicycles for the ride to school.  Walkers are also welcome!  We will have a drawing for a free bike tuneup from Gorham Bike & Ski, as well as an appearance by deputies from the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Recommended arrival times at Newbegin Hall are 6:30-6:45 am for GNG High School and Middle School students, 7:45-8:00 am for Fiddlehead and Russell School students, and 12:00-12:15 pm for Fiddlehead afternoon pre-K students. Please remember to bring your helmet!  Contact Susan at susanchsiu@gmail.com for additional information.
