Host Families Needed

Korean Exchange Students Visit in January

Korean students visiting our community for a week in January need host families!

A group of Korean students arrive January 22 at GNGHSand leave January 30.  They will attend school the week of January 26-29.

A previous host mom shared her thoughts about her hosting experience:

“I did not want to end this year without thanking you!  Thank you for convincing us that we could do this. Thank you for not letting me “over think” bringing in a person from another part of the world into our home. Thank you for helping us understand that this is more about the size of your heart rather than the size of your house or your bank account.

We might not be able to bring our children to the world, but we can bring the world to our children, one exchange student at a time.  It helps our kids learn to be global thinkers.   And they make friends and get to travel."

It does not cost anything except to feed them. They are not here to travel or be entertained, but they do want to practice their English and learn about the American families. They do not need  their own bedroom, but they do need their own bed.  Let me know if you can help us out by hosting for the eight  overnights!
