Notice to Bidders: 3/4 Ton Pickup
The Town of Gray is soliciting bids for [1] new 2016 3/4 ton 4x4 pickup truck with a standard 8’ pickup body.
Sealed and written bids must be received at the Gray Town Office, 24 Main Street, Gray, Maine by 10:00am Wednesday July 13, 2016. All bids will be publicly opened.
Any specifications that do not meet minimum specifications should be identified on the enclosed bid submission form. All bids should be submitted on the bid submission form. Each engine submitted shall be required to demonstrate that has been in operation for a minimum of three [3] years.
Specifications should classify and describe a standard production model, considered necessary to perform the work necessary for the municipal requirements of our climate zone. This standard production model shall have been produced for a minimum of Three [3] years.
All equipment furnished must be new and unused and the same as the manufacturer’s current production model. Accessories not identified herein, but necessary to complete the unit, shall be included. The unit shall conform to the best practice known to the body trade in design, quality of materials and workmanship. Assemblies, sub-assembles and component parts shall be standard and interchangeable, as listed in the following specifications.
