Notice is hereby given that the Gray Town Council will hold a first reading on April 4, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at the Henry Pennell Municipal Complex, 24 Main Street, Gray, Maine, to receive public comments on a Request by Cumberland Farms Inc, currently operating on one lot located at 10 Main Street, to establish a Contract Zone Agreement (CZA) for a retail store and fuel service facility located on three lots at 10, 12 and 14 Main Street as shown on Tax Map 43, Lots 405-7, 6 and 5 respectively. The proposed CZA allows for the replacement and expansion of the fuel pumps and retail store, variations from the sign standards found in Chapter 406, and a reduction from the setback for underground fuel storage tanks. All three lots in the proposed CZA are located in the Village Center Proper (VCP) Zoning District. Citizens are encouraged to contact the Town Manager at 657-3339 for more information.
