Secession Info: State & Local Government Committee Workshop

Notice is hereby given that the Town Manager and Town Attorney will be attending the State and Local Government Committee’s workshop meeting next Monday, April 3, at 1 pm at the State Office Building in Augusta.
Given the importance of the two Legislative Documents re: secession, LD 618 and LD 619, it is likely the Town Council Chair and Vice Chair will attend. Again, given the importance of the issue, it is also possible that one or two of the remaining Town Councilor members will also appear. However, no official Town order, ordinance or resolve will be offered, considered or voted on.
