The Town of Gray is accepting job applications and resumes for two part-time, seasonal positions for the Recreation Department’s Beach Attendants at Crystal Lake. This position reports directly to Director of Parks and Recreation. Beach attendants are the front line to welcoming Gray residents to the beach, helping with safety issues, monitoring the boat ramp for invasive plants and keeping the facilities clean and presentable.
Shift work would include weekdays and weekends (based on the weather).
Applicant must have a High School Diploma or GED. Selected applicants will be required to undergo a background check. Transfer Station Attendant
The Town of Gray is seeking applicants for the Per Diem position of Transfer Station Attendant. This position is for one shift only, the Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM shift, and is available immediately. Positive interaction with the public is required. The work is physical, requiring lifting in excess of 50 lbs above the shoulders, and subject to exposure to all variations of weather, i.e. rain, snow heat and cold. Starting pay is $13 per hour. Applications may be obtained at the Town of Gray Transfer Station on Seagull Drive or at the Municipal Offices located at 24 Main Street, Gray, Maine.
