The Dry Mills Schoolhouse

Item DM-01

Preservation of our Past and Pathway to our Future

Please help us reopen this local treasure for the school children of Gray-New Gloucester and general public.

The Dry Mills Schoolhouse is a historic building dating back to 1857 and is the last standing one room schoolhouse in the area. It is a key part of understanding the history of education in Gray and offers visitors a chance to step back in time via the restored interior of the schoolhouse, old photographs, hands-on items and period books, including a copy of one of the century's teacher journals. The floor must be replaced before anyone can safely access the schoolhouse again.

Please join the team by making a donation towards the needed repairs. This is a community gem and it will be the community that preserves it.

All donations will be segregated and used to fund the floor replacement. No donation is too small (or too large !).

$ 25.00
