In Recognition For: Service to the Town of Gray

George F. Cobb (5 Mar 1823 - 20 Dec 1895) did tin work for Shakers, went on to spend a year under instruction in Falmouth to improve his skills, returned to Gray to open a tin shop and hardware store.  He sold out his hardware business and opened a small confectionery store.
