In Recognition For: Service to the Town of Gray
In 1934, Hans Magnus Hansen (26 Dec 1903 - 30 Sep 1972) purchased the Town Farm Building which included 125 acres of land. He was well known for his agricultural research and for bringing scientific methods to farming. The business continued to run for several years after his death and eventually several acres were sold to become what is now the Gray Shopping Plaza.
