Gray Food Pantry

Event Date:
Friday, November 19, 2021 - 12:00pm

If you or your family are in need of food assistance please visit the Gray Community Food Pantry, located at 5 Brown St. behind McDonalds.  You must first go to the Gray Town Hall parking lot between 12:30 - 1:30 on distribution day to get a number from our volunteer.  Please wait there until he tells you to drive to the pantry parking lot.  Please do not go into the Town Hall buildings.

We are open the first and third Fridays of the month from 12:00-2:00pm. No documentation is required to receive food but you must fill out a simple form.  Seniors age 60+ are eligible for a monthly box in addition to pantry food as long as they meet the financial requirements.

We accept donations of food, personal care items, diapers, cleaning items and money. We have a collection bin in the Gray Town Hall for non-perishables and one outside the shed at the pantry.  Most requested items right now are olives, pickles, canned luncheon meat, baking mixes, coffee, canned meals (hash, ravioli, baked beans, etc.), snacks, pie crusts, pie filling. We have a refrigerator and freezer so we would gladly accept perishables, by appointment. If you have excess produce from your garden or wild game that you would like to donate please contact us.

Monetary donations should be made payable to: GCFP and mailed to Jan Nowinski, 55 Westwood Rd.,Gray, ME 04039.
