Department of Labor: Important New Benefit for Self-Employed

The Maine Department of Labor will begin taking applications for the new federal/state Unemployment Insurance program for people who are self-employed (or otherwise ineligible for traditional UI) on Friday, May 1, 2020.
Applications submitted before then will be denied.
