Public Notice: Proposed Self-Storage Facilities Amendments to Zoning Ordinance

The Town of Gray, Maine hereby issues notice that it is proposing amendments to the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 402, regarding self-storage facilities, including addition of a new section, 402.8.11, which creates performance standards and proposes to allow self-storage facilities only in the Light Manufacturing Overlay District.
The Town Council held a public hearing/first reading on April 4, 2023, and will hold a public hearing/second reading on April 18, 2023. The Planning Board will also hold a public hearing at its April 13, 2023 meeting. All meetings are at 7 p.m. in person at the Pennell Municipal Complex, with remote participation available.
