Train-the-Trainer for Tick and Mosquito Education

Who is it for?
Local health officers, safety officers, teachers, nurses, librarians, scout leaders, summer camp counselors, and anyone who works with the public as a group leader.

What is it?

  • A free of charge workshop training session presented by the Maine CDC Public Health Corps about preventing mosquito and tickborne diseases.
  • Our goal is to equip you with a set of videos and tools which you can use to increase awareness about these diseases to others in your community.
  • We will go through the videos as a group and talk about the important points from each video, followed by questions and answers.
  • After the course, participants will receive a certificate and tick kits.

Wednesday, June 27th 5pm-7pm  (Date is subject to change based on the availabilty of the instructor. Notice will be sent should the date change.) 

How long is it? 

The training is approximately 1 to 1.5 hours long.
