Public Notice of First Reading/Hearing of Chapter 298 and Chapter 501 Proposed Ordinance Changes

The Town of Gray, Maine hereby issues notice that it is proposing to combine Town Ordinance Chapter 298 “Vehicle Weight Restrictions on Posted Town Ways” with Town Ordinance Chapter 501 “Vehicular Use Ordinance,” with proposed changes to the weight restrictions and the addition of restrictions for Shaker Road, between Main Street and the north end of Maine Wildlife Parkway.

The Town Council will hold a public hearing/first reading of this ordinance change on October 18, 2022. All meetings are at 7 p.m. in person at the Pennell Municipal Complex, with remote participation available via Zoom. Zoom information will be on our Meeting Portal in the days before the meeting.
