Forest Lake Watershed Survey
The Forest Lake Association (FLA) has scheduled a watershed survey for Saturday, April 29, 2017.
FLA works towards maintaining the quality of life, lake water, and community within the four-town watershed areas of Falmouth, Cumberland, Gray, and Windham. The survey will be much like the survey completed by the Association in 2003, resulting in a report that identifies potential polluted run-offs from a variety of sources. Once completed, the survey serves as a guide for conservation projects, a basis for grant requests, and to direct homeowner efforts to mitigate problem areas.
Volunteers Needed to be trained on the morning of April 29. After training, small groups will then assist with conducting a survey of erosion sites in the watershed area.
