Gray End of Summer Fest

On Saturday, Aug. 27th, people of all ages and athletic ability will be at Pennell Park, 24 Main St., for Gray's End of Summer Fest - A Harvest Gathering.

This new town festival will kick-off at 9:00 AM with lots of free events: Kid's 1/4 mile Fun Run on the new trails, followed by a Diaper Derby, and then a Team Challenge contest for ages 13 and up, and old-fashioned lawn games.

There will also be live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, animals, exhibits, community/school/business expo, food, watermelon eating contests, blue ribbon tomato judging and more.

The Fest goes until 3:00 PM and is being held in conjunction with the Youth Sports Equipment Swap and Community Give-Away, which starts at 8:00 AM. Plenty of off-site parking at 33 Main St. in the grassy field just north of town hall. FMI: visit/like/share 'Gray End of Summer Fest' on Facebook. Or contact Lacy at Grayendofsummerfest@gmail.com
