Libby Hill Forest Trail Schedule

Libby Hill Forest Trails will be hosting the following High School and Middle School Nordic races and would like people to refrain from using the ski trails  - Middle School Field, Turkey Trot, Moose Odyssey, Deer Run & Holmquist Hollow - due to the work that is involved in preparing the course for racing.

• January 11^th Wednesday - High School Race – Classic
• January 19^th Thursday - Middle School Race – Classic
• January 25^th Wednesday - High School Race – Skate
• January 26^th Thursday - Middle School Race – Classic
• February 8^th Wednesday - HS - Western Maine Triple C – Classic
• February 16^th Thursday - Middle School Race – Skate

Please be respectful of their requests not to walk or snowshoe on the ski trails noted above any time during the ski season.  Several volunteers spend many hours taking care of this resource all year long for a 3 month season and when people walk or snowshoe on the trails it requires additional time and effort to clean up the tracks that potentially could cause harm to skiers. Libby Hill has purposefully established trails to accommodate the mixed usage of the area and would appreciate your cooperation in making this a great spot for all to enjoy.

Please feel free to use the Lynx, Ghost, Harold Libby and Outback walking and snowshoe trails.

Libby Hill Forest Trails are also looking to host several citizen races this winter and will post those dates shortly.
