The Town of Gray is always looking for registered voters to help each election cycle. If you are interested in helping, please review the below information and then submit an application via this online form.

What Does an Election Worker Do?

Election workers play a critical role in the electoral process, ensuring that elections are conducted smoothly and fairly. Their responsibilities can vary depending on the specific role and the stage of the election process, but generally include: 

  • Setting up polling stations
  • Checking voter registration
  • Assisting voters
  • Cleaning up

Is This a Paid Position?

Yes, all election workers are eligible to be paid for the work they conduct for the Town of Gray. Standard forms, including the I-9, W-4 (state), W-4 (federal), and background check consent form, will need to be filled out prior to starting. 

What Experience is Needed? 

None! Everything you need to know about being an election worker will be explained before Election Day.
