Town Engineer / Project Manager

The Town of Gray, Maine is seeking a full-time Town Engineer / Project Manager to plan and design capital improvement projects aimed at enhancing municipal infrastructure. The town of Gray is home to a historic village that has been undergoing revitalization for the past few years and several other areas designated for economic development under the Comprehensive Plan. Conveniently located at Exit 63 off the Maine Turnpike, midway between Portland and Lewiston-Auburn, Gray is a gateway to the Lakes Region.

Applicant must possess three to five years of experience, a four-year degree from an accredited college or university with a specialization in civil engineering, and registration in the State of Maine as a Professional Engineer. Applicant must demonstrate skills and accomplishments in the areas of engineering, design, and project management. Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for economic development are equally essential.

This is a full-time salary position with a pay range of $80,000-$90,000 and full benefits (health insurance, life insurance, retirement plan, and more). Position is open until filled.
