American Legion Post 86

We Served Our Country and Continue to Serve Our Community

The nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization and Gray's oldest non-profit.  The American Legion Post 86 is committed to supporting youth programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to veterans and their families.  The American Legion Post 86 provides scholarships to students at Gray-New Gloucester High School, leadership opportunities to youth at Boys State and Girls State, supports our local scouts, supports American Legion Baseball and other youth sports, assists other non-profits in their service to our community, sponsors blood drives, and many other services as needed in Gray and surrounding communities.
