Gray is a dynamic community that is well positioned for the future. As we develop the vision for Gray's future, we celebrate its past and embrace the present. We understand that our decisions today will have a lasting impact on tomorrow; each decision impacting the community must be carefully considered. The Town Council, town staff, and various commissions, boards and committees work diligently to provide residents and future generations an outstanding quality of life.

Preserving a sense of community is vital. Our fast-paced world places great demands on families, making it is more critical than ever to preserve a sense of community. Annual events such as the Ice Fishing Derby, the Easter Egg Hunt, the Patriot 5K Race around Crystal Lake, the Longest Day 5K Race on Libby Hill Trails, the Fire-fighters Annual Chicken Barbeque, the Patriot Crossroads Challenge, the Halloween Event, the Gray Blueberry Festival and the Christmas Tree Lighting provide opportunities that sustain our strong sense of community. Our Library, Parks and Recreation Department, and other town and emergency services strive for optimum performance to deliver top-notch services.

The Town of Gray relies on local volunteers in so many ways. This production “welcome packet” is a perfect example of the dedicated efforts of the Community Economic Development Committee.  Living and working in our community is enhanced immeasurably by hundreds of hours that our dedicated volunteers lend to assist their community. These generous people enhance community life, whether by serving on a local committee, helping to organize community activities, coaching in our recreation programs, working for our local elections, or serving on the board of any one of a number of local organizations.

Please browse our web site for more information on our facilities, parks, services, and local & regional links. We are sure you will find something that interests you from our many programs, committees and recreational activities. You are always welcome to stop by the Town Hall, give us a call, or visit our website to let us know how we may better serve you. We are happy you have joined our community!

Warmest Regards,
Deborah Cabana,
Gray Town Manager
