Public Notice: Chapter 402 Proposed Changes - 2nd Reading - Commercial Solar Energy Overlay District

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Gray is proposing to add a Commercial Solar Energy Overlay District for properties located between the Maine Turnpike and Route 26A (by-pass) to allow solar energy production. The Town Council will hold a public hearing and a second reading on March 24, 2020. The meeting will be at 7:00 P.M. at Gray Town Hall (Pennell) at 24 Main Street in Gray, Maine. The proposed additions to the Town’s Zoning Map and Ordinance (Chapter 402) include changes to the following Sections: 402.2.2, 402.3.1, 402.4.1 & 2, and 402.5.3 & 4. A proposed new Section 402.8.10 establishes use specific review criteria and standards.
