Public Notice: Proposed Term Amendment to Zoning Ordinance

The Town of Gray, Maine hereby issues notice that it is proposing a non-substantive amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 402, and Shoreland Zoning Ordinance, Chapter 403, which would replace the term “marijuana” with the term “cannabis” in all instances, in accordance with State law, LD 1957 (PL 2022, Ch. 669, §5).
The Gray Town Council held a public hearing/first reading on April 4, 2023, and will hold a public hearing/second reading on April 18, 2023. All meetings are at 7 p.m. in person at the Pennell Municipal Complex, with remote participation available. Call 207-657-3112 for more information.
