Reminder: Senior Property Tax Stabilization Program Applications Close December 1

Senior Property Tax Stabilization Program applications are available at the Gray Town Office at 24 Main Street in Gray, or online here. Please note that the application deadline is December 1, 2022. Applicants are required to submit a copy of their Maine Drivers License or Maine State ID with their application.

You may be eligible for this program if you are at least sixty-five (65) years of age, are a permanent resident of Maine, have owned a Maine homestead for at least ten (10) years, and are eligible for a homestead exemption on the property you are placing in the program.

This program allows certain qualified senior citizens to stabilize, or freeze, the property taxes on their homestead.
