Request for Proposals: Solid Waste Hauling and Bulky Waste Hauling and Disposal

The Town of Gray is seeking proposals from qualified Waste Hauling and Disposal Contractors for:
- The provision of at least two 100-cubic yard compaction trailers for MSW
- The hauling of MSW to ecomaine in Portland, Maine
- The hauling and disposal of Oversize Bulky Waste/Construction and Demolition Debris in Town-owned open top roll-off containers.
- The hauling of recyclable glass material to Maine Recycling in Lisbon Falls, Maine in Town-owned open top roll-off containers.
Project will begin on July 1, 2024, and run for three years, ending June 30, 2027. Two additional one-year renewal options will be considered contingent upon mutual agreement of both parties.

Questions/clarifications regarding this RFP are due on November 10 by 12:00 p.m. to the above email address. The winning respondent will be recommended to the Gray Town Council at their scheduled regular meeting on December 19, 2023.
