Town of Gray to Host COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic on June 15, 2022

Shots for all CDC-approved age groups will be offered at Newbegin Gym from 12-3 p.m.

GRAY – The Town of Gray is partnering with Community Pharmacy, the Opportunity Alliance, the New England Arab American Organization, and the Sebago Lakes Chamber of Commerce to offer COVID-19 vaccines to the public. A vaccination clinic will be setup in Newbegin Gym, part of the Henry Pennell Municipal Complex at 20 Main Street in Gray, on June 15, 2022, from 12-3 p.m.

First and second doses are available for ages 5+, first boosters are available for ages 5+, and second boosters are available for ages 50+ and those with medical conditions. You do not need to be a Gray resident to get a shot.

“I welcome Gray’s partners who are providing this pop-up clinic to our community,” said Town Manager Nathaniel Rudy, who is also Gray’s health officer. “Making sure you are up to date on your COVID vaccinations is a great way to start your summer, and helps keep our community happy and healthy.”

People who are unsure which shot they need can call the Community Vaccination Line at 1-888-445-4111. Attendees are asked to bring their vaccination and insurance cards. Vaccines will still be provided for those without insurance cards.

Community Pharmacy comprises pharmacists who provide safe and effective service for Maine communities. The Opportunity Alliance is a community action agency for Cumberland County. The New England Arab American Organization aims to bridge the gap between cultures in Maine communities and support healthy community programs. The Sebago Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce is comprised of business members from around the Lakes Region who promote economic development.
