Public Notice: Proposed Amendments to Subdivision & Zoning Ordinances

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Gray proposes to adopt new net residential area/density standards and revised regulations for residential open space (cluster) subdivisions into the Town’s Subdivision Ordinance. The proposed changes affect the following sections of the Town’s Subdivision Ordinance (Chapter 401) and Zoning Ordinance (Chapter 402): 401.13.13 (Cluster/Open Space Developments), proposed new 401.13.18 (net residential area/density), 402.6.3 & 4 (current net residential area/density), and 402.7.6 (Cluster/Open Space Development).

The Gray Town Council will be holding a Public Hearing for the First Reading of these proposed changes at their regular meeting on December 6th, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the Henry Pennell Municipal Complex, 24 Main Street, Gray, Maine. The Gray Planning Board will also be holding a Public Hearing on December 8th, 2016 at 7:00 P.M. at the Henry Pennell Municipal Complex.

Public comments on these proposed Zoning and Subdivision Ordinance changes are welcomed at either Public Hearing. Citizens are encouraged to contact the Community Development Department at 657-3112 for more information.
