Facilities and Parks

The Facilities and Parks department - renamed in 2023 from Buildings and Grounds - maintains 16 buildings and their surrounding grounds.

Our responsibility consists of landscaping and general maintenance at Wilkies Beach, six “Welcome to Gray” signs, Veterans Monument, Newbegin Fields, Pennell grounds, the basketball court area, set-up and take down of Kids Club Summer Camp and set-up of the ice rink. During the colder months we are busy with snow removal, salting and sanding.  There are always other projects to attend to throughout the year.

The Faciliites and Parks Department is responsible for planning and executing CIP projects for all public buildings.

We do our best to keep up with the needs of our growing town and we are always willing to accept help from any volunteers who are willing to lend a helping hand. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Mo Russo at 657-3339
